FPC Life Sciences has recently been working hard to support Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies in the delivery of their exciting £400m industry leading multi-modal biopharmaceutical manufacturing site project in Billingham, UK, the largest in the United Kingdom.
Acting as Project Director on behalf of the client, our focus has been to support the existing team with the development of contracting and execution strategies and operational readiness planning; along with creating a shared focus and single collaborative team to meet the expectations of the Fujifilm business leadership team.
Chintan Patel, Executive Director of Operations for Fujifilm, commented
The change in pace and focus of the project since FPC became engaged has been welcomed; their unique approach to addressing complex issues and aligning a team have really helped move the project on.
This is the first major project for the newly formed FPC Life Sciences business which focuses its efforts in supporting customers with the delivery of their Pharmaceutical project investment programmes, building on the significant EPCMV delivery experience of their leaders, Daryn Jenkins and Gareth Davies.
The business is split into 4 pillars, helping customers independently shape projects for success from the outset through Front-end Engineering, Project Execution Support, Technical PMO Support and Sustainability & Energy Efficiency Services.
Dean Francis, Facility Performance Consulting CEO said:
We are delighted that Daryn and Gareth have decided to join our main board to help grow our existing business and create this new business focussed on the Life Sciences sector. Their experience in delivering EPCMV projects is unsurpassed and we hope that this will provide cross selling opportunities from our existing business into Life Sciences and vice versa which will stand us out from the crowd.
