In November, FPC Global’s Building Performance Services (BPS) Division was engaged by an existing client to validate the condition and performance of MEP services for a prospective new office lease as part of their London expansion.
Our expert team carried out a comprehensive and independent review and operational survey of all MEPH services, plant and equipment that serves the client’s floorspace. Upon completion FPC delivered a summarised and objective report on all findings of the services assessed and highlighted key findings, including any major issues and or deviations from design and scheduled service provisions including Building Management Logs.
Our specialists assessed key systems, including: Ventilation, BMS, electrical services, fire safety domestic services including laboratory sampling, key architectural defects and FM operational records of associated services.
Upon completion, FPC delivered a comprehensive set of reports comparing collected data with as-commissioned figures where available and design specifications where not. Our reports also included a clear list of all issues observed during the survey, identified responsible parties for their remediation and actionable recommendations to address them. We attended follow up meetings with our clients and Landlords team to provide technical support of our findings for rectification.
We strive to follow a comprehensive approach that ensures that our clients can move forward with confidence, knowing the MEP systems will meet not just the terms of their lease but the demands of a growing business.
