Hard Maintenance Services

FPC was awarded the comprehensive landlord and tenant hard maintenance services contract at Hachette’s newly refurbished UK HQ (Central London) in October 2015.

In December 2017 FPC was delighted to be awarded the maintenance contract for Hachette’s brand new distribution centre (circa 500k sq ft). This facility is one of the largest and most sophisticated warehouse and distribution centres in the UK.

November 2018 saw another addition to the Hachette account when FPC were awarded the maintenance contract for a small publishing office in the heart of Kings Cross, London.

FPC were delighted to have renewed the maintenance services contract with Hachette across the 3 sites for a further 3 years in September 2019 with the addition of another existing warehouse facility in the Didcot area, to make this 4 sites across Hachette Portfolio under contract.

During FPC’s time with Hachette we have also completed major capex projects, as additional services in-house, including a turnkey design, install, commission & maintain project on a 1.25 MVA generator which provides the whole facility emergency power back up resilience if/when needed. Energy saving/sustainability projects have been implemented which include removal of cold cathode lighting to new LED technology, providing long term savings to our client.

FPC has been working hard with Hachette to keep all facilities compliant and ready for occupation during the COVID19 pandemic by advising carrying out all statutory testing and servicing along with weekly flushing in the facilities.
